Our Meetings

Our meetings are held on the third Saturday of every month (see any exceptions below) at The Church of Christ, 346 Strathmore Blvd., Toronto (Coxwell and Danforth area). The Church is directly across from the Coxwell subway station. Each meeting involves a POT LUCK LUNCH (each member MUST bring a food offering as this is part of your membership dues) and doors open at 10:30 am with the meeting running to approximately 2:30 - 3pm. Our "OPEN STITCH" runs from 10:30 to 11:30 am. Bring your current project and work on it while catching up with friends! If you've hit a snag with your pattern, now is the time to ask for help. Our members are REQUIRED to provide 12, 8" squares per year to meet their membership requirement. They must be made using acrylic, worsted weight yarn, worked in-the-round, and please avoid black as a main colour. Err on the side of slightly-too-small, and weave in all ends except the last, which should be at least 6" long. The squares help us support our official charity, WARMING FAMILIES. If a member is unable to provide 12 squares per membership year, yarn or cash donations may be substituted Lunch is at 12 noon, followed by a brief business meeting. All scheduled specialty classes are held between 1:00pm and 3:00pm

| July 21/12 | Regular meeting. Our summer attendance is normally low and it's hot! Great for working with cotton yarn or thread! |
